Recently I had a conversation where I was explaining that Bitcoin can not be killed by a government because it is so decentralized. You'd effectively have to shut down the whole internet to kill it, whatever you do in one country just won't do. Then I thought: OK say that through some magic you do manage to shut down the internet and all the computers connected to it for a while, a week let's say. Does it kill Bitcoin? Or does it simply come back as soon as internet is restored and computers/nodes are back online?
