Google Alternatives huge list restore your privacy

This guide aims to be the most exhaustive resource available for documenting alternatives to Google products.
With growing concerns over online privacy and securing personal data, more people than ever are considering alternatives to Google products.
After all, Google’s business model essentially revolves around data collection and advertisements, both of which infringe on your privacy. More data means better (targeted) ads and more revenue. The company pulled in over $116 billion in ad revenue last year alone – and that number continues to grow.
But the word is getting out. A growing number of people are seeking alternatives to Google products that respect their privacy and data.
So let’s get started.
Note: The lists below are not necessarily in rank order. Choose the best products and services based on your own unique needs.

Google search alternatives

When it comes to privacy, using Google search is not a good idea. When you use their search engine, Google is recording your IP address, search terms, user agent, and often a unique identifier, which is stored in cookies.
Here are ten alternatives to Google search:
  1. Searx – A privacy-friendly and versatile metasearch engine that’s also open source.
  2. MetaGer – An open source metasearch engine with good features, based in Germany.
  3. SwissCows – A zero-tracking private search engine based in Switzerland, hosted on secure Swiss infrastructure.
  4. Qwant – A private search engine based in France.
  5. DuckDuckGo – A private search engine based in the US.
  6. Mojeek – The only true search engine (rather than metasearch engine) that has its own crawler and index (based in the UK).
  7. YaCy – A decentralized, open source, peer-to-peer search engine.
  8. Givero – Based in Denmark, Givero offers more privacy than Google and combines search with charitable donations.
  9. Ecosia – Ecosia is based in Germany and donates a part of revenues to planting trees.
*Note: With the exception of Mojeek, all of the private search engines above are technically metasearch engines, since they source their results from other search engines, such as Bing and Google.
(Startpage is no longer recommended.)

Gmail alternatives

Gmail may be convenient and popular, but there are three major problems:
  1. Your inbox is used as a data collection tool. (Did you know Google is tracking your purchasing history from the receipts in your inbox?)
  2. Rather than seeing just emails, your email inbox is also used for ads and marketing.
  3. The contents of your inbox are being shared with Google and other random third parties.
When you remain logged in to your Gmail account, Google can easily track your activities online as you browse different websites, which may be hosting Google Analytics or Google ads (Adsense).
Here are ten alternatives to Gmail that do well in terms of privacy:
  1. Tutanota – based in Germany; very secure and private; free accounts up to 1 GB
  2. Mailfence – based in Belgium; lots of features; free accounts up to 500 MB
  3. Posteo – based in Germany; €1/mo with 14 day refund window
  4. StartMail – based in Netherlands; $5.00/mo with 7 day free trial
  5. Runbox – based in Norway; lots of storage and features; $1.66/mo with 30 day free trial
  6. Mailbox.org – based in Germany; €1/mo with 30 day free trial
  7. CounterMail – based in Sweden; $4.00/mo with 7 day free trial
  8. Kolab Now – based in Switzerland; €4.41/mo with 30 day money-back guarantee
  9. ProtonMail – based in Switzerland; free accounts up to 500 MB
  10. Thexyz – based in Canada; $1.95/mo with 30 day refund window

Chrome alternatives

Google Chrome is a popular browser, but it’s also a data collection tool – and many people are taking notice. Just a few days ago, the Washington Post asserted that “Google’s web browser has become spy software,” with 11,000 tracker cookies observed in a single week.
Here are seven alternatives for more privacy:
  1. Firefox browser – Firefox is a very customizable, open-source browser that is popular in privacy circles. There are also many different Firefox modifications and tweaks that will give you more privacy and security. (Also check out Firefox Focus, a privacy-focused version for mobile users.)
  2. Iridium – Based on open source Chromium, Iridium offers numerous privacy and security enhancements over Chrome, source code here.
  3. GNU IceCat – A fork of Firefox from the Free Software Foundation.
  4. Tor browser – A hardened and secured version of Firefox that runs on the Tor network by default. (It also does a good job against browser fingerprinting.)
  5. Ungoogled Chromium – Just as the name says, this is an open source version of Chromium that has been “ungoogled” and modified for more privacy.
  6. Brave – Brave is another Chromium-based browser that is rather popular. It blocks trackers and ads by default (except for “approved” ads that are part of the “Brave Ads” network).
  7. Waterfox – This is a fork of Firefox that is configured for more privacy by default, with Mozilla telemetry stripped out of the code.
Of course, there are other alternatives to Chrome, such as Safari (from Apple), Microsoft Internet ExploreEdge, Opera, and Vivaldi – but these also come with some privacy drawbacks.

Google Drive alternatives

If you’re looking for a secure cloud storage option, you can check out these Google Drive alternatives:
  1. Tresorit – A user-friendly cloud storage option based in Switzerland.
  2. ownCloud – An open source and self-hosted cloud platform developed in Germany.
  3. Nextcloud – Nextcloud is also an open source, self-hosted file sharing and collaboration platform, based in Germany.
  4. Sync – Based in Canada, Sync offers a secure, encrypted cloud storage solution for businesses and individuals.
  5. Syncthing – Here we have a decentralized, open source, peer-to-peer cloud storage platform.
Of course, Dropbox is another popular Google drive alternative, but it’s not the best in terms of privacy.

Google Calendar alternative

Here are some Google Calendar alternatives:
  1. Lightning Calendar is an open source calendar option developed by Mozilla, and it’s compatible with Thunderbird and Seamonkey.
  2. Etar, an open source, basic calendar option.
  3. Fruux, an open source calendar with good features and support for many operating systems.
For those wanting a combined solution for both email and calendar functionality, these providers offer that:

Google Docs / Sheets / Slides alternative

There are many solid Google Docs alternatives available. The largest offline document editing suite is, of course, Microsoft Office. As most people know, however, Microsoft is not the best company for privacy. Nonetheless, there are a few other good Google Docs alternatives:
  1. CryptPad – CryptPad is a privacy-focused alternative with strong encryption, and it’s free.
  2. Etherpad – A self-hosted collaborative online editor that’s also open source.
  3. Mailfence Documents – From the Mailfence team, this is a secure file sharing, storage, and collaboration tool.
  4. Zoho Docs – This is another good Google Docs alternative with a clean interface and good functionality, although it may not be the best for privacy.
  5. OnlyOffice – OnlyOffice feels a bit more restricted than some of the other options in terms of features.
  6. Cryptee – This is a privacy-focused platform for photo and document storage and editing. It’s open source and based in Estonia.
  7. LibreOffice (offline) – You can use LibreOffice which is free and open source.
  8. Apache OpenOffice (offline) – Another good open source office suite.

Google Photos alternative

Here are a few good Google Photos alternatives:
Shoebox was another alternative, but it closed operations in June 2019.

YouTube alternatives

Unfortunately, YouTube alternatives can really be hit or miss, with most struggling to gain popularity.
  1. Peertube
  2. DTube
  3. Bitchute
  4. invidio.us
  5. Vimeo
  6. Bit.tube
  7. Dailymotion
  8. Hooktube
Tip: Invidio.us is a great Youtube proxy that allows you to watch any Youtube video without logging in, even if the video is somehow restricted. To do this, simply replace [www.youtube.com] with [invidio.us] in the URL you want to view.

Google translate alternative

Here are a few Google translate alternatives I have come across:
  1. DeepL – DeepL is a solid Google Translate alternative that seems to give great results. Like Google Translate, DeepL allows you to post up to 5,000 characters at a time (but the pro version is unlimited). The user interface is good and there is also a built-in dictionary feature.
  2. Linguee – Linguee does not allow you to post large blocks of text like DeepL. However, Linguee will give you very accurate translations for single words or phrases, along with context examples.
  3. dict.cc – This Google Translate alternative seems to do a decent job on single-world lookups, but it also feels a bit outdated.
  4. Swisscows Translate – A good translation service supporting many languages.
If you want to translate blocks of text, check out DeepL. If you want in-depth translations for single words or phrases, then Linguee is a good choice.

Google analytics alternative

For website admins, there are many reasons to use an alternative to Google analytics. Aside from privacy concerns, there are also faster and more user-friendly alternatives that also respect your visitors’ privacy.
  1. Clicky is a great alternative to Google Analytics that truncates and anonymizes visitor IP addresses by default. It is lightweight, user-friendly, and fully compliant with GDPR regulations, while also being certified by Privacy Shield.
  2. Matomo (formerly Piwik) is an open-source analytics platform that respects the privacy of visitors by anonymizing and truncating visitor IP addresses (if enabled by the website admin). It is also certified to respect user privacy.
  3. Fathom Analytics is an open source alternative to Google Analytics that’s available on Github here. It’s minimal, fast, and lightweight.
  4. Get Insights – Another privacy-focused analytics platform, with a full analytics suite. The front-end client is open source and available here.
  5. AT Internet is a France-based analytics provider that is fully GDPR compliant, with all data stored on French servers, and a good track record going back to 1996.
Many websites host Google Analytics because they run Google Adsense campaigns. Without Google Analytics, tracking performance of these campaigns would be difficult. Nonetheless, there are still better options for privacy.

Google Maps alternative

A map alternative for PCs is OpenStreetMap.
A few Google Maps alternatives for mobile devices include:
  1. OsmAnd is a free and open-source mobile maps app for both Android and iOS (based on OpenStreetMap data).
  2. Maps (F Droid) uses OpenStreetMap data (offline).
  3. Maps.Me is another option that is free on both Android and iOS, but there is a fair amount of data collection with this alternative, as explained in their privacy policy.
  4. MapHub is also based on OpenStreeMap data and it does not collect locations or user IP addresses.
Note: Waze is not an “alternative” as it is now owned by Google.

Google Play Store alternative

Currently the best Google Play Store alternative is to use F-Droid and then go through the Yalp store. As explained on the official site, F-Droid is an installable catalog of FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) applications for the Android platform.
After you have installed F-Droid, you can then download the Yalp store APK, which allows you to download apps from the Google Play Store directly as APK files.
📷The Yalp Store is a good alternative to the Google Play Store.
See the F-Droid website or the official GitHub page for more info. Other alternatives to the Google Play Store include:

Google Chrome OS alternative

Want to ditch the Chromebook and Chrome OS? Here are a few alternatives:
  1. Linux – Of course, Linux is arguably the best alternative, being a free, open-source operating system with lots of different flavors. With some adjustments, Linux Ubuntu can be run on Chromebooks.
  2. Tails – Tails is a free, privacy-focused operating system based on Linux that routes all traffic through the Tor network.
  3. QubesOS – Recommended by Snowden, free, and also open source.
Of course, the other two big operating system alternatives are Windows and Apple’s operating system for MacBooks – Mac OS. Windows, particularly Windows 10, is a very bad option for privacy. While slightly better, Apple also collects user data and has partnered with the NSA) for surveillance.

Android alternatives

The biggest alternative to Android is iOS from Apple. But we’ll skip over that for reasons already mentioned. Here are a few Android OS alternatives:
  1. LineageOS – A free and open-source operating system for phones and tablets based on Android.
  2. Ubuntu Touch – A mobile version of the Ubuntu operating system.
  3. Plasma Mobile – An open source, Linux-based operating system with active development.
  4. Sailfish OS – Another open source, Linux-based mobile OS.
  5. Replicant – A fully free Android distribution with an emphasis on freedom, privacy, and security.
  6. /e/ – This is another open source project with a focus on privacy and security.
Purism is also working on a privacy-focused mobile phone called the Librem 5. It is in production, but not yet available (estimated Q3 2019).

Google Hangouts alternatives

Here are some alternatives to Google Hangouts:
  1. Wire – A great all-around secure messenger, video, and chat app, but somewhat limited on the number of people who can chat together in a group conversation via voice or video.
  2. Signal – A good secure messenger platform from Open Whisper Systems.
  3. Telegram – A longtime secure messenger app, formerly based in Russia, now in Dubai.
  4. Riot – A privacy-focused encrypted chat service that is also open source.

Google Domains alternative

Google Domains is a domain registration service. Here are a few alternatives:
  1. Namecheap – I like Namecheap because all domain purchases now come with free WhoisGuard protection for life, which protects your contact information from third parties. Namecheap also accepts Bitcoin and offers domain registration, hosting, email, SSL certs, and a variety of other products.
  2. Njalla – Njalla is a privacy-focused domain registration service based in Nevis. They offer hosting options, too, and also accept cryptocurrency payments.
  3. OrangeWebsite – OrangeWebsite offers anonymous domain registration services and also accepts cryptocurrency payments, based in Iceland.

Other Google alternatives

Here more alternatives for various Google products:
Google forms alternativeJotForm is a free online form builder.
Google Keep alternative – Below are a few different Google Keep alternatives:
Google Fonts alternative – Many websites load Google fonts through Google APIs, but that’s not necessary. One alternative to this is to use Font Squirrel, which has a large selection of both Google and non-Google fonts which are free to download and use.
Google Voice alternativeJMP.chat (both free and paid)
G Suite alternativeZoho is probably the best option
Google Firebase alternativeKuzzle (free and open source)
Google Blogger alternativesWordPress, Medium, and Ghost are all good options.

We're springing into a new season, and with it, a chance to be made a millionaire! Comment to enter! [Drawing Thread #40]

March onwards!

Updates (all of which are edited in):
These retrievals will start at 3:45 UTC, 4:00 UTC, and 4:30 UTC respectively.
TL;DR of the TL;DR:
  • To enter, comment only once to this post. Replies to other comments can be posted, but will not count as an entry. Good luck!
In Case You Missed It:
TL;DR:
What is this, anyway?
Three years ago, a Redditor posted an idea in /Showerthoughts that speculated the fact, if a million people picked a certain Redditor and all donated just $1, they would have the power to make someone a millionaire.
This subreddit is an embodiment of that showerthought, and the monthly drawings are the attempts to make it happen.
We need your help to keep this running, which amounts to only $1 a month to make someone's day. In the long term, that’s $120 every decade, which is much more affordable than other expenses. How does it work? Below, you will find an explanation on entering, rules to keep in mind, the selection, and other important things to note.
How to enter:
  • REQUIRED: Leave only one (1) top level comment in reply to this thread! Replying to other comments will not count. It is highly recommended to comment "RemindMe! 3 days Donation for /millionairemakers", which will remind you via PM to donate. That's it!
Important Rules:
  • Only ONE top level comment per person (replies and subsequent-level comments aren't included), but feel free to reply to other comments. Making duplicate top level comments may result in exclusion from entering. Go to me to ensure you don't accidentally double comment.
  • If, by any chance, you do double comment, delete any extra duplicates ASAP, ideally before the thread is locked, as any chosen draws found to violate this will not be eligible to win, and will be banned from the subreddit.
  • Your account must be older than 30 days with some amount of activity. Throwaway accounts with very minimal activity will also not be eligible. This is to prevent multiple entries from the same person.
How will the winner be picked and how can you donate?
  • After 24 hours, this thread will close, and the method of selection will begin.
  • While attempts to make the selection method similar to 2017’s have been performed, it still varies from the original. For an example from a prior drawing, see [Draw #36]. For archival purposes, please click here for the original selection method.
  • Method's TL;DR: Your number is assigned by sorting the comments by old, resulting in the first commenter being 1. The list of comments will be publicly released for the community to verify per their own accord. The subreddit then waits for a randomly generated block (a string of numbers) from Bitcoin's blockchain, after a preselected date and time, and calculates the winner using a formula described in the posts mentioned above.
  • Comment IDs are downloaded at 2:00 UTC, three hours following the thread being locked. There will be an official run at the time listed. If it is shown that there are any technical difficulties, the retrieval of the comments will be delayed by an hour, following the same procedures.
  • While not necessary, to determine if you are on the list, please go to your comment and save it. The comment ID is what gets recorded and selected, which looks like this: e3yxpj4.
  • The Draw is held at 16:00 UTC the Sunday after comments have been downloaded, unless stated otherwise. Using the Bitcoin blockchain, the third block yet to be mined will be used to select a winner.
  • The user who created the winning comment will be informed of their luck and will provide any information necessary for their chosen payment methods (mods will help set this up if needed).
  • The generous Reddit community donates to this lucky person, hopefully making some worthy soul a millionaire! A donation table will be stickied to the winner’s post, giving users the freedom in how they donate.
  • The lucky Redditor follows up with a thank you within the next days, revealing to the community exactly how much was raised and thanking their generosity.
Reminders
  • Take the time you have available now to setup your PayPal, Square Cash, and Google Wallet account, and/or cryptocurrency wallets. (Note: Some services may not be available depending on where you reside.)
  • To buy any cryptocurrencies, you may use Coinbase for purchases using your bank account.
  • To store cryptocurrencies, there are many accessible wallets, and if you win, you will be guided on which ones to download. For Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, it’s recommended to use the Electrum and Electron Cash wallet for Mac, Linux, and PC.
  • Please try your best to donate a $1, no matter who wins. Every single dollar, cent, anything really counts, so please take the effort to remember and go through with it.
  • If you want to be reminded to donate, please comment "RemindMe! 3 days Donation for /millionairemakers".
  • Spread the word! The more people who participate, the better this gets for everyone! There has been a correlation between this subreddit making it in /all and an increase in donations.
  • Try to cross-post to relevant subs, and upvote. There is a correlation between reaching /all and the amount of donations for the winner. (Please don't spam other subs though. We're not trying to make any enemies here.)
  • If you are under 18, please talk to your parents to get their consent to participate and use their help to setup a PayPal account.
MOST IMPORTANTLY
Remember, this is about generosity, making history, and coming together to make someone's life better. It takes three minutes to donate a bit to the winner, whether you're well off and want to donate a couple bucks, or going through tough times and can only donate a few pennies. Every cent counts.
Note about legality: This is NOT a lottery. You don't have to pay to enter. No prizes are given away directly by the moderators of this subreddit (the moderators will never even touch your donations; this is done voluntarily). As for gift taxes, according to the IRS, they're paid by the donor, and any donations under $15,000 is not taxable.
If a lone $1 can get you seeds (I'm running out of ideas), imagine the possibilities with $1,000,000. You can rake, bake, or skate freely (there aren't many stand-out features in March)!
One million dollars can help give relief to some debts. Spread the word: have your friends and family comment, post the link to your friendly-neighborhood social media network, and share it to anyone interested.
Let's spring up/grow a millionaire!
Pollen has fallen.
Here comes a sneeze and a wheeze.
The winner's calling.
Edits are for reclarification and updates.

I made a Cryptocurrency tracking spreadsheet complete with live crypto price updates, moon math, and a full history of your Portfolio and trading performance (Updated).
This is a spreadsheet that I have developed for myself gradually over the last couple years. I have found it very helpful for keeping track of my bitcoin holdings (great for tax purposes). No need to trust third party apps to keep your personal information - track it yourself.
There is a lot in here including;
Automatically updates prices from coinmarketcap. The top 100 coins included. Just select which ones you want to track by typing in the name.
You can even choose your local Fiat currency and get live conversion rates for any country.

You don't need to record details of every trade. Just keep track of your crypto purchases (from fiat) and what coins you currently hold. The spreadsheet will calculate the rest and keep a record of how your portfolio and holdings have changed over time (it logs this data every time you save the sheet)

I find this very handy to see if your trading is actually profitable compared to the HODL method.

Oh yes and there are plenty of 'moon math' and analytics to see how bitcoin is trending. This includes a full history of bitcoins price which updates every time you open the sheet.

This version has some bug fixes and a few new features including a 'Stock to flow' price prediction model;

Bitwala How To recover your funds and Warning

Good morning everybody,
Let's talk about Bitwala.

Trustpilot reviews

https://it.trustpilot.com/review/bitwala.com?languages=all&stars=1&stars=2

HOW TO RECOVER YOUR FUNDS.

In case u/Bitwala blocked your funds, please collect all the emails/documents exchanged with them and upload them on Dropbox. Then please, file a CLAIM with the Berlin Polizei here: https://www.internetwache-polizei-berlin.de/.
FILING THE CLAIM IS FREE AND IT TAKES JUST FIVE MINUTES.
Add in the claim's description the Dropbox link, explaining what is inside.
IMPORTANT: SEND then the claim's PDF to u/Bitwala.
FEW DAYS LATER THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED.

Here you can also finds some useful contacts:
Disclaimer: all the information were collected from public documents and no privacy breach was made.
Bitwala number: +49 30 2398 0075
Ben Johnson (Bitwala CEO): +49 ..... Public Link: https://www.creative-city-berlin.de/en/network/membehooptedoodles/

Let's talk about Bitwala.

Bitwala is a platform that provides you a German IBAN to deposit EUR and then buy BTC. The BTC wallet is a multi-signature type. What does it mean? Multi signature means that the user does not have 100% control over his wallet.
So how works u/Bitwala ?
Forget about Bitwala, in reality you are dealing with a German bank named SolarisBank AG. Your bank account opened with u/Bitwala, is under their control. Bitwala, as stated by their costumer agents, cannot influence any decision regarding the freezing of your funds.
Below my deposition made with the Berlin Polizei.
" Giacomo Vico, myself, on the 15.10.2019, registered on Bitwala and made a first deposit from PayPal, for two thousand euro.
The deposit was credited and everything *seemed very good.* On the 16.10.2019 other four thousand and five hundred euro were transferred from PayPal to Bitwala.
The same day the account was blocked. No warning or explanation.Immediately I tried to stop the second deposit, but it was too late.
Emailing instantly Bitwala, a support agent named Brianna, told me that they had no responsibility over the bank accounts, and every decision about them was taken by their bank partner, SolarisBank AG. This last part is extremely poor explained on their website. www.bitwala.com
The day after, 17.10.2019, Giacomo Vico requested a formal explanation and provided all the documents proving the ownership of the PayPal. *No answers from Bitwala or SolarisBank.*
So, on the 20.10.2019, after a pile of useless and vague emails, Giacomo Vico decided to call directly SolarisBank. He could spoke only with a vague operator, named Jerico and was denied speaking with a manager. The operator told Giacomo Vico that he could only address his concerns, about SolarisBank, through emailing with their partner Bitwala. However, in response, u/Bitwala repeated that they could not solve the dispute because they had no control over the bank account.
Stunned by so evident subtle manners, Giacomo Vico, on the 28.10.2019, was obliged to call in his lawyer.Again, SolarisBank was called, in order to solve as gentlemen the dispute, but again we were denied speaking with a manager.
Therefore, on the 29.10.2019 my lawyer sent an email to SolarisBank formally requesting the closure of the account and the remittance of the funds. Absolutely no answers. After calling them again they repeated they could not speak with us and we should address our concerns to u/Bitwala. "
Two days, later my lawyer opened a Legal Claim with the Berlin Polizei, against two managers of Solarisbank.
ONLY after this, we received an email from SolarisBank asking for an IBAN to remit the funds.
All Bitwala Cases: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kqf0lhcri9i70qq/AAAKLz0B-_v2MI-3BpH5zQVwa?dl=0

Bitwala is directed by four managers Jörg von Minckwitz, Jan Goslicki, Dylan McFadyen, Ben Johnson.
Three of them previously operated a company called All4BTC, which many of you may remember.

ALL4BTC

All4btc was a service that let you buy anything on the web using Bitcoin.
You copy-pasted in All4Btc the link of what you wanted to buy, enter your shipping details, checkout with bitcoin and lastly wait for All4Btc to buy your product and then ship it to you.
Indeed during the brief life of the company a huge number of users hardly complained that they paid for orders, but no items were ever received.
Funds recover was impossible because customer service STOPPED RESPONDING.
In the link below you will find all the users that "lost" their funds with All4BTC.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/b7s7wao82qqt2ry/AADG7U8_kaTwwhLwvmpHjGT3a?dl=0
After increasing claims, the three of them decided was time for fresh air. They interrupted all the activities with All4BTC and continued with Bitwala GmbH.

Bitwala and All4BTC Structure

Minckwitz, Goslicki and McFadyen in 2013 funded the Bits & Coins Consulting UG. https://www.dropbox.com/s/pftmh7vdwrcipqe/gruendungsurkunde_bitcoinsberlin.pdf?dl=0
All4BTC was a “Bits & Coins Consulting UG” project, as it is clearly stated here. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ywd272czj78b7nd/vertrag_2013_juli.jpg?dl=0
Then in 2015, Jörg von Minckwitz and Jan Goslicki founded Bitwala GmbH.
Taking a closer look, we see that Jörg von Minckwitz, while being director of Bitwala, was the head manager of All4BTC until 17.08.2016, when Dylan McFadyen took his place.
Then on the 24.11.2017, Martin Mischke became the head manager of All4BTC replacing Dylan McFadyed, which became Senior Manager in Bitwala GmbH.

Winter is coming, get ready to overthrow the establishment! (I mean, make a millionaire.) [Drawing Thread #38]

It's cold. (I've never watched an episode of Game of Thrones, please enjoy the reference if it makes sense! If it doesn't, it's treason, then. And if I made anyone cringe, I'm sorry. )

In Case You Missed It:
TL;DR: Leave a comment on this thread. A random user will be chosen, and everyone donates a dollar to make a millionaire. You are welcome to spread this thread via upvoting, telling friends and family, and sharing on social media! If you'd like to be reminded to donate to the winner by RemindMeBot, click here!
In the long term, that’s $120 every decade, which is a much more affordable price than other expenses.
Important Rules:
  • Only ONE top level comment per person (replies and subsequent-level comments aren't included), but feel free to reply to other comments. Making duplicate top level comments may result in exclusion from entering. Go to me to ensure you don't accidentally double comment.
  • If, by any chance, you do double comment, delete any extra duplicates ASAP, ideally before the thread is locked in 24 hours, as any chosen draws found to violate this will not be eligible to win, and will be banned from the subreddit.
  • Your account must be older than 30 days with some amount of activity. Throwaway accounts with very minimal activity will also not be eligible. This is to prevent multiple entries from the same person.
How will the winner be picked and how can you donate?

There will be a trial run prior to the time listed, one at the time listed, and one trial run thirty minutes after. If it is shown that the deletion of comments has occurred between any of the trial runs, or technical difficulties, the retrieval of the comments will be delayed by an hour, following the same procedures.
  • While not necessary, to determine if you are on the list, please go to your comment and save it. The comment ID is what gets recorded and selected, which looks like this: e3yxpj4.

One million dollars can keep someone from the pain of the frost and cold. Spread the word: have your friends and family comment, post the link to your friendly-neighborhood social media network, and share it to anyone interested.
Let's heat a millionaire!
The cold of the night,
Whether sweaters or letters,
Today, set things right!

There’s plenty of traffic at the Christmas party. If you have any questions, or just want to talk about how good the party’s getting (for whatever reason), feel free to discuss it here! It’s posted on my main account, so I should hear it! [Discussion #49]

To enter the Drawing Thread - Part 2, click here! THIS IS NOT THE DRAWING THREAD, ANY COMMENTS HERE WON’T COUNT AS YOUR ENTRY!

What's next?
Alright, I had this part written in the event of a three-parter, but comments are slowing down. If you're excited about the Drawing, make sure your preparations are set.
First, you need to make sure you have made one (AND ONLY ONE) comment in any of the three [Drawing Thread] posts. This comment also must be a top level comment, as seen here. Have you made more than one comment, and neither of them are replies? Take the time between now and midnight (ET) to delete a comment of your choice. Each account may only leave one comment in any of the three threads, and all winners will have their accounts checked out for any questionable activity.
Second, you need to stay tuned this Sunday at 11 AM ET (16 UTC). The winner will begin to be picked at that time, and a post will be made to acknowledge that.
In case you don't know, all of our winners have been picked by the third block released on the Bitcoin blockchain at that time. This process can be as short as twenty minutes or as long as an hour. You don't need any Bitcoin, all you have to know is a big line of numbers (a hash) comes out, and picks the winner for us!
The text file is released beforehand, with all of the entrants from the three [Drawing Thread] posts summed up in the post and a SHA-256 hash, to make sure none of the data has been tampered with. I will also include an Information folder, so for those who don't code, can find the winner for yourselves.
In other words, it's going to be remarkably hard for this to be rigged and going unnoticed.
Third, make sure you are reminded to donate to the winner! That includes setting a calendar reminder at December 23 at 6 PM ET (23 UTC), or PMing the RemindMe bot about it (links below). This is the biggest Millionaire Makers thread, and we want to give the winner justice!
For closure, this is done every month. If you thought today was hectic, January will not only be the first [Drawing Thread] of 2020, but our 50th Drawing Thread! That means that once January is done, we will have made 50 millionaires! (Our definition of "millionaire" in this subreddit is loose.)
Keep in touch! We have our own Discord moderated by one of the mod team, and if Discord isn't your thing, then set a reminder for January 17 at 6 PM ET! We have RemindMe bots, too (links below).
Finally, thank you all for entering this. Your entries have made this one of the biggest threads in the subreddit's history, and I'm excited to see what the future holds.
Clarification:
I want to let everyone know of a few things.
First, congratulations! Never before as moderator has this happened, you all have made me work harder as soon as I woke up!
Second, I want to clarify on some things. I’ve seen some accounts make replies, but have it as their only comment. If you have made a reply, make sure you make an original top-level comment to enter in the [Drawing Thread].
How do I know my comment is a top-level comment? Well, I have a handy graphic for you: https://imgur.com/Si1VLX4
Third, I am going to make a change. The Drawing Thread will receive a three-hour extension! This means that the posts will be locked at 9 PM ET (2 UTC), to give the people who weren’t able to comment in the original a chance to do so.
As for gathering comments, there is also change in that. They will be done only once at 12 PM ET (5 UTC) (originally 9 PM ET). This is because with so many people, many delete their comments, either due to not qualifying or not wanting to enter. This directly affects how comments are gathered, and with users this size, comment gathering will take a significant amount of time. To retry every time a comment is deleted will delay the [Draw] process, hence this decision. Speaking of which, the [Draw] post will continue to be made at 11 AM ET (16 UTC).
Finally, thank you. The response has been wonderful, and I’m glad this has been well received. If you have any comments, make sure you leave it in this subreddit: /millionairemakersmeta. If this is your first time here, I’ve also pasted the information from the original [Drawing Thread].
In Case You Missed It:
  • This is done every month, we will be doing this again starting with January for our 50th Drawing and the first [Drawing Thread] of 2020! If you would like to be reminded, set a calendar reminder for January 17 at 6 PM ET, or click here to be reminded through the RemindMe bot via PM!
  • I (the writer) am currently on winter break and will take the free time I have now to future-proof this subreddit. I will add a Dropbox text file with all of the dates for 2020 in the upcoming hours, and will update the list of past winners in the subreddit sidebar (if you can’t see it, use old.reddit.com).
  • Our last winner, Phantom_Viper, is currently accepting donations! A college student and a hard worker, donations will go towards savings and to future winners. If you would like to contribute, donate here!
  • The /millionairemakersmeta discussion thread is now up!

BITWALA WARNING "How to RECOVER your funds"

Good morning everybody,
Here you will be able to find all my case and Twenty Nine others more.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kqf0lhcri9i70qq/AAAKLz0B-_v2MI-3BpH5zQVwa?dl=0

HOW TO RECOVER YOUR FUNDS.

If also got your funds blocked with u/Bitwala, please collect all the emails - documents exchanged with them and upload them on Dropbox. Then please, file a CLAIM with the Berlin Polizei here: https://www.internetwache-polizei-berlin.de/ and add in the report's description the Dropbox link, explaining what is inside.
FILING THE CLAIM IS FREE AND IT TAKES JUST FIVE MINUTES.
IMPORTANT: Lastly SEND the CLAIM's PDF to u/Bitwala.

Here you can also finds some useful contacts:

Disclaimer: all the information were collected from public documents and no privacy breach was made.
Bitwala number: +49 30 2398 0075
Ben Johnson (Bitwala CEO): +49 ..... Public Link: https://www.creative-city-berlin.de/en/network/membehooptedoodles/

NOW let's talk about Bitwala.

Bitwala GmbH

The deposit was credited and everything *seemed very good.*
On the 16.10.2019 other four thousand and five hundred euro were transferred from PayPal to Bitwala. The same day the account was blocked. No warning or explanation.
Immediately I tried to stop the second deposit, but it was too late.
Stunned by so evident subtle manners, Giacomo Vico, on the 28.10.2019, was obliged to call in his lawyer.
Again, SolarisBank was called, in order to solve as gentlemen the dispute, but again we were denied speaking with a manager.

As stated before at these Dropbox links you may all the other cases.

Bitwala and All4BTC Structure

Minckwitz, Goslicki and McFadyen in 2013 funded the Bits & Coins Consulting UG. https://www.dropbox.com/s/pftmh7vdwrcipqe/gruendungsurkunde_bitcoinsberlin.pdf?dl=0
All4BTC was a “Bits & Coins Consulting UG” project, as it is clearly stated here. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ywd272czj78b7nd/vertrag_2013_juli.jpg?dl=0
One year later, on the 25.09.2014, they also funded a company based in Holland, under the name of Safaru BV. https://drimble.nl/bedrijf/hengelo/30629985/safaru-bv.html
Lastly three years later Bitwala GmbH became the sole manager of Safaru BV. https://drimble.nl/bedrijf/hengelo/30629985/safaru-bv.html

A made a Cryptocurrency tracking spreadsheet complete with live crypto price updates, moon math, and a full history of your Portfolio and trading performance (fixed).
I have posted this previously however since then coinmarketcap have changed their api. This version has a workaround for that - with the downside that it takes much longer to fetch price data. You will need to be patient when opening the file and when you press the price refresh button.
This is a spreadsheet that I have developed for myself gradually over the last couple years. I have found it very helpful for keeping track of my bitcoin holdings (great for tax purposes). No need to trust third party apps to keep your personal information - track it yourself.
There is a lot in here including;
Automatically updates prices from coinmarketcap. The top 200 coins included.

[Discussion] TestFlight Public Beta Links V2

EDIT: I'm really baffled as to why there are people downvoting this. You're only preventing other people on the sub-reddit from seeing this by doing so. Think about other people who have been looking for some of these links for months before you downvote this post for zero reason.

New Thread for y'all!

Here are the TestFlight links I have come across so far. I will update this continually as I find more and as you guys post more. Happy testing!

Tip: Use Ctrl+F to find links to your favorite applications quicker

If you like what you see, feel free to Venmo me! I just graduated college and will have to start paying back loans soon, so anything is extremely appreciated. Feel free to send me your username too, if you want a shoutout on this post!

Venmo: MichaelBertolino

Old Post: https://www.reddit.com/iOSBeta/comments/9so4u8/discussion_testflight_public_beta_links/

Update #1: Added column for the people who wanted to know when new links were added. You're welcome.
Update #1.5: I will remove the links after every tenth link that is added, so make sure to check the list daily!

Update #2: Since this list is becoming a lot bigger, I'm adding a column for apps that I endorse (whether I like them or not) or have on my phone, so that people can find better quality apps quicker.
